Do you want to know how much nitrates are in your drinking water?

HydroMetrics offers real-time groundwater monitoring and puts the tools into the hands of land owners and businesses so they can become environmental guardians of their land and water.

If you would like to test the nitrate levels from your rural well or rural water supply*, HydroMetrics is setting up a water testing station on the Lincoln University campus.

Bring your water sample (50 mL) in a clean jar or container and we will measure the nitrate concentrations (mg/L) for you.

Gold coin donation - proceeds will go to the Farmstrong charity to support the wellbeing of the rural community.

*Note: If you are using Christchurch City's water supply, please do not submit your water samples. These water readings can be accessed publicly online.
