NZ Government: 'Our Freshwater 2020' report

'Our Freshwater 2020' report was released last week by the Ministry for the Environment and Statistics NZ.

To quote Our Land and Water, 'The low-light is the desperately worrying state of our native freshwater fish. 76% threatened with or at risk of extinction. So are 25% of invertebrates, 33% of freshwater plants, 66% of native birds.'
